Testimonials ... here's what
some of our parents have to say.
When our daughter turned
2, we were concerned about her balance and coordination. She
seemed to trip over and bump into everything. We saw the ad for
Jumping Jacks Playtime and thought it might be just what we were
looking for to help her – we were right!
In the beginning, she
sat and watched during group time and only tried to do some
rolling. As she observed the other children’s involvement and
the teacher’s enthusiasm, she slowly became more confident and
tried to do more of the interesting and challenging activities
that were part of the program.
Now she jumps, claps and
does all the actions to the songs, as well as climbing,
spinning, crawling through tunnels and stepping easily over,
around and through equipment.
Friends and family have
commented upon the improvement in her coordination and
confidence. She is very happy that she can do so many more fun
things and is really ready to begin Preschool next year.

Jumping Jacks has provided our daughter
(now three-and-a-half) with physical challenges and joy that we
have not always been able to provide, living in an apartment and
with very busy lives.
We have found the
smaller class size more flexible and with greater opportunity
for one-on-one time with Lynn - something which Ella REALLY
enjoys. The range of activities and equipment are more than
enough to keep Ella involved and stimulated, and just about
guarantee a good sleep that afternoon (for both child and
mother!!).
Ella is more confident
both physically and socially since starting at Jumping Jacks 2
years ago. Mum has also made great friends and enjoys meeting
with the 'coffee club set' before the sessions. And I must add, that
on the couple of occasions that I have taken Ella, it has been
nice not to be the only Dad there.

I would like to 'officially'
say thank you for helping with my son, Nicholas. When
Nicholas still wasn't sitting on his own at 9 ˝ months, I was feeling very
concerned. After discussing this with you and going
through some exercises to do with him, he started sitting by
himself in about a week and a half - a huge relief for me, and a
whole new world for him.
I am sure that Jumping Jacks Playtime has also helped his
coordination and strength as we were most surprised when he
started walking just after his first birthday - not just one or
two steps but up and across the room - and he hasn't looked back
as he just about runs everywhere now!
We are looking forward to returning to Jumping Jack's this year.

I was first introduced to
Jumping Jacks Playtime 5 years ago when 2 of my great grandsons
attended the classes. It was a time that each of the
children had a special time with Mum on their own.
They laughed and played while improving strength, co-ordination
and flexibility from the age of 9 months through to 4 years of
age.
Now, I am attending with another 2 of my great grandsons and I
continue to see the benefits of the programme and the fun the
children have.

At Jumping Jacks, we
found the group and one-on-one activities with Lynn
stimulating and engaging. As a first-time mother, I found
the weekly talks on general baby related matters, recent
research findings and question time extremely valuable.
Lynn’s enthusiasm and interest in each baby shines through
every week. Since returning home to Melbourne, we have
tried to find another physio-run kinder-gym in our local
area and were disappointed to find none. Overall, we found
this program unique and very rewarding and I highly
recommend it!

My daughter, Millie, and I have really enjoyed Jumping
Jacks. My first daughter walked at 10 months so it was very
surprising to me that my second child was a very different
body type. At Jumping Jacks, Lynn as great -
explaining the different body types and exercises and
activities to perform with my daughter. My daughter,
at 11 months, is constantly changing and developing the
skills to put her on the right track to walking. We
have bot enjoyed the music time at Jumping Jacks (Millie is
always clapping and smiling in response to Lynn's actions)
and sharing and learning with other mums. Even though this
is my second daughter it is always helpful to hear from
other mums on what has worked well with them in parenting a
child. Thanks Lynn. D

Hi Lynn,
I just wanted to write a short note to let you know how much
we are enjoying Jumping Jacks. I am pretty sure that
it is Matilda's highlight of the entire week, especially the
singing time! When the whistle blows, as you know, she
is the first child running with joy off the the circle for
singing, I just love seeing her like that - I think it's
fantastic. I have also really noticed a change in her
co-ordination since starting Jumping Jacks. Just the
little things such as the equipment she originally had
problems with, and now operates with ease. I am really
happy with the changes there. Most of all though, she
loves it and that's what makes me love it. Thanks a
lot for your help. Belinda C
